I chose this story because I think anyone who calls themselves a literature student has to read Faulkner. But because his style is so intimidating, reading one of his novels can be a frustrating challenge.
One of the difficulties with this story is piecing together the timeline of events. Also who do you think is speaking in the story? What was your favorite or most shocking part?
